THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT
Everyone, no matter their age, deserves a chance to grow, learn, and succeed.
Everyone, no matter their age, deserves a chance to grow, learn, and succeed.
We have been stunned! My son is 21 and has both Apraxia and Down syndrome. We were told when he was 8 years old that he had “all he would have” for verbal skills. I wish I could go back and tell that “expert” how wrong they were. My son is STILL learning and actually improving more quickly than ever before. More and more people understand him when he speaks now. Never say never! Unless it’s “Never give up.” Definitely never give up. Thank you!!! You are opening up our world with him!
Rheanne just rocks!! I've seen more progress in 6 months with her than 6 years with the school speech pathologist. And my son just loves her! She really structures their time together to suit his interests and needs.
This lady is amazing. She loves kids. They have so much fun together that my son doesn't feel like it's work. The convenience of having it at home saves so much time. I was skeptical of at home therapy but I'm a fan now and can't imagine going back to a clinic. Plus, instead of the usual 30 min session we used to get at a clinic, my son receives an hour of therapy in the comfort of his home, where's he's most comfortable. His speech has improved immensely.
We love Ms Rheanne!! She has been working with our family for nearly a year. Our daughter has made so much progress with her. We love her play based approach as well as her willingness to work with our family dynamics (other kids and dogs) within our home environment.
Rheanne has been fantastic with our daughter. She learns a lot and has a great time. We are very happy.
Sol Therapy Services is committed to providing personalized, evidenced-based therapy with compassion, flexibility, and innovation for all individuals, no matter their age.
The Future is Bright!
Sol Therapy Services Speech Language Pathologists have experience in providing speech and language therapy across the ages of the pediatric populations. Their experiences range from Early Intervention, providing speech language therapy to the birth-three population, early childhood (ages 3-5), and school age (ages 6-18+) students. Sol Therapy Services SLPs can work with already existing IFSPs, IEPs, and treatment plans making sure to collaborate with the child's current support team.
Therapy is done in the child's natural environment. Sessions will include direct therapy with the child, parent / caregiver tips and tricks, and home programming to ensure continued progress and carryover of skills.
Unlike many providers around the Twin Cities, Sol Therapy Services believes that learning and growing can still happen past the age of 21. As Transition Plus programs come to an end, many parents are left wondering what’s next. Sol Therapy Services has found a solution to ensuring growing and learning continue, creating an innovative adult services program. We currently service a variety of adult clients who are working on a number of skills including: time and calendar management, articulation and language skills, oral placement and sensory motor feeding skills, presentation and speaking skills, job preparation and interviewing skills, among a number of other functional life skills.
Therapy is done in our clients' most natural environment: home/residential quarters. Sessions include direct therapy with the client, as well as inclusion of caregiver/ family in session activities, strategies, and techniques. Home programming is offered to ensure carryover of skills and continued progress towards goals.
Sol Therapy Services offers feeding therapy in home and in the clinic. We are currently Level 1 Talk Tools trained and working through Level 2. This means we have experience and have taken many trainings on the topic of oral placement therapy with a sensory motor approach to feeding. We work with a variety of ages, from breast and bottle fed infants, to picky eaters, to oral phase dysphagia. Our goal is to provide an in-depth, comprehensive evaluation and treatment plan with strategies and techniques to ensure our clients are getting adequate nutrition for continued growth and development, as well as enjoying meal times safely. We want mealtimes to be safe and enjoyable for everyone!

Rheanne is an ASHA certified Speech Language Pathologist. She has been awarded the ACE (Award for Continuing Education) 3 years in a row. Rheanne is a graduate from Illinois State University, where she earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders. In her 10 years in the field she has worked with a range of clients with varying delays, disabilities, and disorders; across a number of settings including schools, outpatient clinics, private practices, Early Intervention, ABA clinics, and in-home. Rheanne feels whole heartedly that of all the settings, a client’s natural environment is the best setting for progress and success. This passion led her to create Sol Therapy Services, so that she could get back to providing in-home, natural environment therapy.
Rheanne values a team approach to therapy. She works to ensure collaboration with families, caregivers, parents, and other professionals (including other therapists, teachers, aides, supports, etc) to ensure clients have the best opportunity to overcome their speech/language and/or feeding needs.
Rheanne’s areas of special interest include Down syndrome, Autism, Oral Placement Therapy/Sensory-Motor feeding, social skills, Early Intervention, articulation and phonological disorders, expressive and receptive language, and Childhood Apraxia of Speech.
Rheanne has completed a number of trainings and coursework specific to feeding including: the SOS Approach to feeding, the Get Permission Approach, and Talk Tools specific trainings which include Sensory-Motor Approach to Feeding and Oral Placement Therapy. Rheanne has completed the Talk Tools Level 1 trainings and is working through the Level 2 trainings. These trainings center around a sensory-motor approach to feeding using Oral Placement Therapy (OPT), which combines tactile components to traditional speech and feeding therapy. The best part is OPT can be used across all ages and ability levels (check out more here: https://talktools.com/pages/parents-resources).
Additionally, Rheanne is working through coursework to be certified in Myofunctional therapy, as well as working towards becoming a Certified Lactation Consultant.
Rheanne is Hanen certified in the It Takes Two To Talk® program. This program provides evidence-based coaching strategies, techniques, and tools to support parents and caregivers of children with language delays. This program was designed to provide caregivers research based, responsive interaction strategies that can be used during everyday interactions. Sol Therapy Services was started to full-fill our passion for helping individuals communicate and enjoy meal times. We wanted to create a company that does not exclude, but works to include all ages across the lifespan. We are passionate about life long learning and wanted to create a place that celebrates learning across all stages of life. Around the Twin Cities you can find many pediatric therapy clinics and private practices; which is great! But what about the adults who could still benefit speech and/or feeding therapy? Thus, Sol Therapy Services was founded. We created a place where we can provide services to everyone, no matter their age; from birth to adulthood. We currently service St. Louis Park, Golden Valley, Edina, Eden Prairie, and many other surrounding cities of Minneapolis, please reach out to inquire if we service your area!
